The Evergreen Homeless Outreach Alliance: November Update

On November 12th, we met with Cityteam and learned that they will now be bringing their Hope On Wheels Food Truck to the Tully Rd Encampments every Saturday from 3pm-5pm

City Team's Hope On Wheels Food Truck goes to encampments all over the Bay Area. I am personally committing to being there twice a month (More details to follow) If you, or any Churches you are connected with are interested in more of those efforts, you can see their entire schedule here. Just look for Hope On Wheels.

On November 23rd, we had a multi Church encampment outreach behind the Evergreen Branch Library. We were able to pray for those eating with us and connect with even more people there.

On November 25th, Geraldine went out to the Felipe Rd Encampments with Sleeping Bags for the Homeless.

She also connected with someone to make Tacos and brought the leftovers directly into the encampments. Geraldine also connected with a lot of people and was able to pray with many of them.

Geraldine is coordinating with multiple organizations to lead more events like this one in December. Which brings me to December! Here are our currently scheduled event for December:

I will be working with City Team's Hope On Wheels Truck at the Tully Rd Encampments on: Saturday December 3rd

Saturday December 17th

BUT a reminder, City Team is there every Saturday and would love the help. Again, here is their entire schedule for their Hope on Wheels Truck.

Geraldine is also leading two more multi organizational events scheduled throughout December. on Saturday December 10th Saturday December 17th If you would like to join either of those efforts feel free to contact her directly or feel free to contact me. Lastly, we would love to return to the Encampments behind the Evergreen Library. If you, or anyone you know is interested in leading or joining that effort, please feel free to contact me and we can make it happen. Any questions please feel free to reach out to me anytime. Regards, Tyler Wiest
