About Us

For over 15 years the leaders of the Homeless Outreach Alliance have been doing outreach separately. In Spring of 2022 they came together and created the Evergreen Homeless Outreach Alliance. A team designed to connect Churches and organizations directly to encampments and those in need living on the streets. Our mission statement is:

The Homeless Outreach Alliance aims to empower Churches, groups and individuals to connect with those who are suffering from Homelessness by providing training, support and connections to partner Organizations.

The Homeless Outreach Alliance's main focus is building quality relationships with the homeless by providing them with repeat visitors who are present with open hearts and minds to to their struggles, and some direction toward a potential path to escape their situation. 

The homeless outreach alliance's goal for 2023 is to gain 10 partner Churches, so there can be at least one Church for each district of San Jose.
